Hello everyone,

I am new to this site. I need your advice please. Have knocked on several doors and windows for a job as a nurse, didnt have my luck, I have a strong desire to work as a nurse and learn more higher in my career, having no work experience is the the major blocking wall that I could not break. I am qualified and certified to work as an RN, didnt get my chance yet, tried everything I could flooded my resume everywhere. I couldnt work as a nurse since I graduated, because of some very strong unavoidable personal reasons.. But my desire to work in the front line jobs in a hospital was always my passion, I took an RN refresher for a better luck , but nothing yet..

I love to be a nurse practioner or if I could go for the extreme I would really consider an MD programme as well even though the scope of both professions are entirely different but not paralell.. I would consider myself as an above average person when it comes in diagnosing or figuring out what is going wrong with my patient.. With my nursing knowledge I have helped many guiding them right way in treating or finding out the right treatment for health problems. I am pretty sure I know what I say that I do, but very disappointed because I never got an official platform to perform.

If no work experience is the blocking wall, I have to have a chance and somebody has to give that chance to me.

If I dont find a job I would enroll myself in a college and start studying, I still prefer to get the work experience and then study , but without work experience being an NP is out of the way.. I am willing to jump into even more depths, that is an MD programme, but that would be something I would consider if everything else doesnt work.

It feels like I have a lot of potential for my career in health, but with a lot of road blocks. I dont want my skills to be wasted.. Please advice on what should I do to kickstart things. Thank you.
