to be specific, it's under the accreditation tab, then click the .pdf file for approved nursing programs.

it lists ALL the nursing program from BSN to MS, to return to practice programs, not just the bridging program. So at around the 5th page of the whole file, you'll see Initial Registration Course for Div. 1 Overseas RN on the description column, that's what you're looking for.

i don't know where you're from but there's a huge mostly Filipino thread https://allnurses.com/international-nursing/new-grad-filipino-501897.html and it'll provide you with some of the information you might need through the experiences of the members who's already in the process.

Regarding AHPRA assessment/application fee, I "paid" about $400-500. I can't recall exactly how much I put in the credit card payment form but its around that number. You can always check the NMBA website for detailed information.

deakin university offers BP. and if your in melbourne you can just go to APHRA office and ask for info and list of BP providers

I will also be taking my ielts and hoping that I can get OBS 7

hi im new here, i have been browsing through this site about the Bridging program fee, i saw a link but its just redirecting to the homepage, so do you guys have any idea

1. how much a brigding program would cost?

2. how many months?

3. what are the chances that one can be a registered nurse in AU after taking the bridging course? do we need to pass a certain exam to become a registered nurse in AU?

Your written english is not of an appropriate level of english to be an RN in Australia by your post, was that the problem?

You will have to approach AHPRA the national registration board and apply for assessment, they will need a current test in IELTS of 7 all round in one sitting. They will give you a letter to apply for a bridging course. You will then need to find a full-time job and the employer willing to sponsor you, after 2 years you can apply for permanent residency.

Thank you for this thread. I am a 20 year old fresh graduate under Bachelor of Science in Nursing in the Philippines. Aside from my Related Learning Exposure in hospitals and communities, I have no other hospital exposure as a nurse. I heard volunteering as a nurse in the Philippines will not count so I decided to just wait for our family visa under subclass 457. Anyway, this thread at least gave me a clue on what to do in Australia to work as RN there.

So when I get there, would you consider it wise for me to go to AHRPA then and there to get asssessed? Is that really the basic step? :)

The plan is I work first to earn so I can apply in a bridging course. Do you think that will work?
