Hi Everyone:
I just started my second week of LVN class. And I'm constantly bombarded with bouts of anger. Lots of anger. I don't know why. I have to drive at least an hour and a half to and from school. Then the hours and hours of classes. Then the homework and the tests, etc. It's all okay so far, because I only do the minimum and try to take it as easy as I can. Otherwise I'll go nuts. But driving home, driving there, I just plain angry. Angry angry angry.
Anyone have any experience with this? Would appreciate some insight and advice...
I'm also breaking out like crazy. Not happy.

Simplistically speaking, this could very well be an expression of intense stress. Highly suggest that you look into stress relief. There are things you can undertake on your own, but you should also seek the advice of your personal physician, for help, and to rule out any physical problems. One of the best things you can do to help yourself, in more ways than one, is to adopt a good exercise program and maintain that program, come poop or high water. Since we can not offer medical advice here, have to emphasize that you should see your personal physician just in case there is something not easily dealt with. Good luck.

Hey meatballgirl, well it is definitely stress... Just try taking it one day at a time, I can imagine how difficult it is. Just maintain yourself focus, excercise try and eat healthy. Give yourself plenty of rest and relax. You can PM me anytime to vent....

Maybe look up some meditation techniques to help yourself relax? I drive an hour each way to/from class and I used that time to listen to my lecture recordings so it don't feel like it's wasted time. Nursing school is incredibly stressful as it is. Several of my classmates started anti-anxiety meds while in school, so maybe you should talk to your doctor. Good luck!
