I will be graduating in a few weeks and I would like to purchase a book on charting/documentation. Our nursing program did not cover this, and I would just like to buy a good resource/reference book. Does anyone know of one they recommend? I've looked on B&N.com but just wanted to hear from someone who might have advice.
Thank you!

Try either of the two books
Complete Guide To Documentation ISBN#1-58255-238-X
Chart Smart The A-Z Guide for Better Nursing Documentation ISBN#1-58255-096-4
Both of these books cover any and everything about how to chart, when to chart and the different styles of charting including computer charting.
Good Luck!

I have ChartSmart and have found it helpful for almost every situation. I believe that it was written or edited by a lawyer.
