BON first or CES?

was wondering where to submit my credentials for nclex exam. CES or to florida BON? thanks :)

Neither of those have nothing at first to do with the NCLEX exam.

You must first submit to CES and get the credentials evaluation done, then Florida BON. Once they have approved your documents and training, they will send you a letter that you have met their requirements. At that point, you can pay for and register for the NCLEX exam.

You need to go thru both of those, as well as submit for the Visa Screen Certificate and complete the English exams.

can start VS now but you won't get it until you have passed NCLEX and they have recieved the result :)

Visa Screen Certiifcate is issued once you have passed NCLEX as well as the English exams. The earlier that you can send in the application, the earlier that they can get the verifications done from your school, etc. This is what takes the longest.

i see. i have submitted my requirements for CGFNS exam this nov. or march next year. will it be okay if i start to process my application for CES also so that i can take my CGFNS and NCLEX weeks apart if possible?

Not sure why you sare even going to take the CGFNS exam............

CES is something different from applying for the CGFNS exam. They are actually two different applications, not sure if you are clear on that. If you have ther money to be able to go to Hong Kong, or Seoul for the NCLEX, then I would not bother with CGFNS exam, and only do the CES.

my family wants me to take all the exams, CG and NCLEX before leaving the country so that i won't have to take them if and when i go there. they want everything settled before leaving and most of my relatives want me to take both CG and NCLEX.

as for me, if i can take them both in weeks apart, the better. thank you ma'am for the enlightenment.

There is no lreason that you will ever need to have the CGFNS exam. Only place that would require it is Michigan or Illinois in the first couple of years for endorsing. Sorry, but they are giving you incorrect information.

CGFNS exam was originally a weeding out exam so that nurses were not sent to the US to take the licensing exams and could not pass them. Now you can take NCLEX out of the US. Many states no longer require the exam for this reason. It will also add months on to your time. CGFNS exam is nothing like the NCLEX exam, and will not prepare you for the other one at all.
