I felt the same way when I applied to Lincoln Technical School, I initially went in to speak about the LPN program once I said that I had two kids and a job, the recruiter basically tried to steer my attention towards another program they had ( patient care tech ) which she thought would be better for me because the total duration of the class was shorter ( 8 months ) compared to the 15 months that the LPN program would be.. She also said that it was really intense and that there was a test that's pretty hard. She basically handed me pamphlets about PCT's instead of what I was interested in. But I went to Prism Career Institute passed the entrance exam & the interview. With that being said if you don't hear back, don't give up there are other options !!!! My orientation is May 15th!!!!

I recently had an interview for the lpn program and I feel like me having children and a job was a big turn off. They kept asking me about time management. I hope that doesn't make my chances of getting in pretty low. They said they had to interview more ppl. Does that mean I didn't get in? Has anyone been told they were accepted the day of the interview?
