Board of nursing.

I am currently on probation with the Bon. I have to take a course at my expense on record keeping / documentation. It has to be a plan of continuing education , consisting of the nys nurse association or its equivalent. The nys nurse association doesn't offer a course for that. Where do I find a course?

Google is your friend. I notice you posted the same request on at least one other forum, but you couldn't find this NYSNA workshop? Yes, you have to be a member. Consider it part of your cost-- the workshop itself is FREE.

Thanks for getting back to me. I did post on two different forums. When I went to the ans website and looked under continuing education there were courses but none for what I needed. The Bon made it sound like I had to take a class. I have to send them a syllabus of the course and get there approval. So I took it as an online course?

Not sure what you mean by that last question. If the BoN accepts an online class, fine, but they're the ones to tell you whether they do or not. Otherwise, the one I found is a live class in a classroom.
