Hi aleena23, You can go online and check the website of American Heart Association and the click on CPR/ECC class connector and it will ask you to enter your zip code. You can find your nearest BLS location there...

I am including the link for you http://www.americanheart.org/presenter.jhtml?identifier=3011764

To be on safer side, AHA BLS certifications are widely approved....And my understanding is being first time for the certification you may have to actually go in...

Hope this helps..

thanks , im check this web and inquire ,and im planning to take the class BLS

hi aleena.. i also enrolled in BLS certification in Pasadena..Its 50 buck for 3 hours..

just curious but how were you able to pass nursing school without being BLS certified? It's a requirement of our school and the clinical sites

i graduated from foreign school, and is not accredited by AHA

You can take the test online through the AHA site, then, after you complete and pass the final exam , you can print the certificate to show you have done the written work. The AHA charges a small fee for first part, however they provide you with a nice online tutorial and pre test. Next step is using the locator that JJG provided you with. You will be charged to go in and take the final portion with the instructor, you will demonstrate your hands- on skill. I paid 55.00 dollars for this part. I am now working toward obtaining my acls certificate, going about it the same way as I did the BLS. Best of luck to you
