Hello,
Does bio med terminology class help prepare you for a&p class. Does anyone know anything about this class? Bio med terminology and medical terminology, is there a major difference?

I think that a medical terminology class would definitely help you if you took it prior to A&P or Micro. Some of my classmates took it, and they understood certain concepts quicker because they had a good foundation on the vocabulary. For example, when we learned about the parts of the blood, one of the things that we had to learn about was the erythrocytes compared to leukocytes and about 10 other components of the blood and lymph, which I had absolutely no familiarity with. However, my study buddy had taken medical terminology and she knew that "eryth"--anything = red blood cell because she'd learned that eryth(rós)= red in her medical terminology class. This helped her when we learned about diseases, also, like erythema. She easily knew that this disease was characterized by redness.
As for me-I googled lots of suffixes and bought a medical dictionary, since I hadn't taken the class.

Med terminology might help you if you take it prior to A&P. I didn't but we had to know a lot of the prefixes and suffixes. Some were really easy and when you broke it down to the literal names of certain anatomical parts it was super easy. I made A's without taking it so its really up to you.
