I am not a nurse as of yet, but I am a mom, who has had 3 kids, two of which were delivered by c section. The first c/s I had to take one prepackaged cup of this stuff and although it was NASTY, it was over quick and I had no issues.. the second c/s was in a different facility than my first one and imagine my surprise when the nurse hands me 2 cups of it. I was NOT happy about it, but nevertheless I drank them both. Then, on the OR table, after my spinal was in and I was draped up and the doctor was about to or had already made his incision.. I felt the most nauseated I have ever fet in my entire life. I did end up having to vomit, and once I had I felt SO MUCH BETTER, but I am convinced it was that second shot of nasty that did me in on my empty stomach. UGH..
