I am applying this coming up Spring quarter for Whatcom's nursing program. Do you think I have a chance with a 3.6 gpa and I get .25 extra point for having a previous bachelors. Thanks! I appreciate any advice or tips!
It sounds like you are applying for online program (?)
Lowest GPA last year was about 3.86. This year GPA was high as well.
However, I am not sure about GPA for online class but I would guess that it is high too.
Good Luck!

I'm actually applying to both programs. I think think advisor said that the full time program. The average gpa was 3.7. Hopefully I can at least make the waiting list!
I have never heard about full time program that supposed to start Spring quarter. I know that they want to increase number of students in online program. At least that's what they told us before summer break. With GPA I am not going to argue. I am curently full time nursing student at WCC (2nd year) and GPA for our class was 3.86 Good luck! WCC Nursing Program is a great program that has high NCLEX pass rate and has awesome instructors!

What is considered the best program in Whatcom County?
I have heard from an employee at St. Joseph's Hospital, that they don't hire LPN's from Bellingham technical college school, and prefer the ones from Skagit Valley. Has anyone else heard this?
I really can't drive all that way for schooling.....
What about the RN program at Whatcom Community College?
Thanks! I appreciate any and all your input.
