To be honest Im still surprised at how there are few nursingnpath here in U.S. When I was in the PH there was only one path. BSN-RN.
I am still in high school so I am still deciding for my career path. Im thinking to take traditional BSN and take NCLEX. However my mom suggested that I can be LPN first and after that, take BSN. I honestly don't know what to do. If you could help me, what is the best nursing path?

I recently became a LPN and decided this was a better choice for me. Becoming a LPN first has allowed me to learn the basics of nursing. I think this will help me when I start taking classes for my RN. Becoming a LPN first also is the best option in my opinion because you go to school for one year (possible more or less in other states) and you can work for a while before going back to school.

Depends on where you live/ want to live. I am from an area that is BSN must if you want to work in hospital. LTC and SNF tend to hire more ADN new grads bc there are soooo many. Way over saturated!!! I moved to a different part of the same state to do my BSN I am able to work in a hospital as an LVN.
