Best NP Program in NYC

Hi there,

I am starting my search for NP schools. I am most interested in doing an FNP and a post master cert. in ACNP down the line. I went to LIU Brooklyn for undergrad and while it was disorganized as all hell, I might stay there because it is "the devil I know". However, when looking at other program I do see they require far less clinical hours and I am unsure about if they offer some of the classes as hybrid. If you have any advice I would love your input!

Hi,

I applied to LIU FNP program for Fall 2020. Just wondering if you ended up applying? and what was disorganized about it from your undergrad experience? Thank you!

Hi there,

So when I was there it was a “transitional phase” for the administration. When I started there was no dean and the the assistant dean left as well as the clinical coordinator. Many of us did not have clinical assignments like for PEDs I did it in their SIM lab. They seem to have gotten a lot of the kinks worked out now that they actually have an administration in place but I feel like the entire experience there was overpriced and overrated considering what we went through.

I had good and bad ones. For the most part they were good.
