Best & quick CNA program for Spring in Seattle

Have you thought about a private CNA program? It is quicker and cheaper than a community college program. The downside is that when applying for schools, you will need to have your state license where some schools will accept you just having taken a community college program. I went to Divine CNA and it wasn't too bad!

That being said, Bellevue has a great program that is well respected throughout the community. You should check into that!

I've also been looking into getting my CNA, after reading a couple different posts I stumbled upon: NursingAssistantTraining Several people seem to recommend it and they have a variety of different class schedules. The program takes 4-6 weeks versus a community college would take 10-11.

I used Blossom CNA in Kent, WA :) they have classes going on constantly and their program is only a few weeks long. It was quite intense the amount you learn in the short amount of time, but it's also one of the best priced places out there. I met some great lifelong friends in that class as well and everyone that we've talked to has passed their state test. Nursing Assistant Training Kent, WA good luck and I hope you find something!

No matter what do not ever go to Divine CNA. Horrible facility and rude teacher. All of my classmates, including myself, have to repeat the WA state CNA test 3 times!! Just a waist of money.

I went to Nursing Assistant Training Institute in Shoreline. I highly recommend their program. Great staff and very well run. They offer free review classes before the state exam if you need to brush up your skills, and if for any reason you need to drop the program, you can retake with in 6 months for your initial fee with no extra charges.

I second Verene's suggestion. I went to the Nursing Training Institute in Shoreline. They also provide you with a book, CPR certification, and HIV certification at no extra charge. NATI in Shoreline is also one of the sites they used for the actual state exam, so you are able to get familiar with the layout of the room and equipment before your state exam. The test room is also available to practice in during the weekdays if there's no class! And once you finish class, you are allowed to come in for a free review class on your skills portion :) I loved NATI! Staff is super friendly. I took the class last year and was too anxious to take the state exam until this last summer! While I chose not to take a review class, I came in to practice my skills during their open test room time, just once--took my test--and passed :)

Hi, I have recently received my certification as a CNA from Renton Technical College. While applying for job at various Medical Centers, I am realizing that I should also take the course of ICU CNA. Unfortunately, I am not able to find a place that offers this type of course. Do you have recommendations where I can take the course from?

I haven't started it yet, but I've been accepted into the Fall 2018 CNA program at Shoreline. I'm working on that in coordination with an overseas move, and the communication between myself and the CNA program advisor has been great. She answers emails quickly, gives detailed responses, and has helped make sure I don't miss deadlines. It sounds like it goes at a much slower pace than other CNA programs as it's two quarters long, but since I'm new to the healthcare field, I don't mind too much.
