Mar 31, 201313 yr Hey guys, I saw that there was no post for our group so I decided to create on. How is everyone doing with their Hesi? Also, is someone who is accepted into their program declines admission, do they open up a spot for someone else?
Aug 8, 201312 yr I'm still looking into health insurance, I have left voicemails at several companies and I'm waiting for some replies. I'm hoping to find something reasonable.
Aug 9, 201312 yr Go to the national student nurses association website they offer a reasonable planUnfortunately they are no longer offering the insurance plan as of 2013-14 due to changes in Federal law. It was a good, affordable plan. If you are under 31 years old you may be able to restart coverage under your parent (s) insurance plan as a full time student.

Aug 10, 201312 yr Horizon basic and essential EPO costs about 200 for me... Anyone have better options out there?
Aug 12, 201312 yr Author question for second level, it is better to start with gi/gu or cardiac/respiratory?
Aug 14, 201312 yr The most debated question as an entering level two student I was advised by professors, past students and mentors to take gi gu first than cardiac and level 3 take psych than maternity
Aug 15, 201312 yr I just received a letter from school saying we no longer require health insurance as of 7/5/2013? Gov. Christie signed into law such a bill?Am I the only one?
Aug 15, 201312 yr See my post on August 7th regarding the letter you received. Yes the letter states Gov Christie no longer requires full time students to have health insurance coverage however as stated in the letter sent to our homes. Bergen community college and its hospital affiliates requires you DO need to have personal health insurance. This school can be sneaky and confusing with paperwork I urge you to read things twice three even four times and keep it in your records.
Aug 15, 201312 yr Sorry let me re phrase that... The allied health divisions of Bergen Community College and the hospitals we affiliate with for clinicals REQUIRE us to have it! Please everyone get personal health insurance and provide a copy to health services with all of your health forms soon!! CPR Malpractice copies go to the Nursing Dept Secretary
Aug 19, 201312 yr Author since our clinicals start mid-october, can i wait to buy insurance so that i will go into effect on october 1st?
