hi there,
i have been a nurse for 14 years, and have never heard of a cna to rn program, and doubt that there is any such thing (please correct me if i am wrong). if you want to become an rn with the least amount of time invested - go for an adn program (many community colleges have adn programs) which are only 2 years long. i would not go the lpn route - because it will likely take you longer. i also think that in all honesty, a good, experienced cna is paid almost as much as an lpn - so why waste the year getting an lpn.
good luck,

It seems to me that time and money are your biggest issues. Do what you can when you can. If you can take the year out for LPN, go for it. You will be one step closer to your goal, and can start working as a nurse while you gather up more money to get into an LPN-RN bridge.
There isnt a CNA to RN program to do online or otherwise. Good Luck and congrats on baby #3!!

Where are you from? In California they have a special loan program. You take out student loans through the Gov up to $20,000. Then, if you work in an underserved area for three yrs when you graduate they pay back your student loans.
The LVN program here is only 3 semesters. You could do that and then bridge to RN while you are working.
Also, there is no online CNA to RN, there is too many clinical things you do not get as a CNA that you need as an RN that are hands on teaching. Good luck!
