According to the pt's bill of rights, can a PT refuse a restraint device?
Does a nursing home pt have the right to have guests stay overnight?
When cleaning the perineal area is back to front or front to back?
Any help would be great, thx

is this for a homework assignment? If so, I would suggest looking up this information on your own. It should be readily available.
All the best,

I would guess this is probably a homework assignment! Read the questions and think about them for a second. Would you wipe yourself from back to front?

Federal & State requirements regarding restraint indicate their use would be utilized with a physician's order to ensure the safety of a patient who lacks the capacity to make safe judgments related to their care; therefore this would not violate the rights of the patient.
Nursing Home residents have the right to have visitors 24/7 as long as the visitors are not disruptive to the care of the resident or others.
Always wipe from cleanest to more soiled...generally front to back.

:/ I guess OP has hw answers now. I am sure a few of my classmates must have done this too but it doesn't seem that effective as a learning method.
