Band 7 interview

Hi, I have an interview for a gynaecology Macmillan nurse and need to do a presentation. “As a band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist in Gynaecology Oncology what are the service improvements you would prioritise in the first 12 months in line with national Cancer strategy.”

Can anyone give me any tips please? Thanks

    Have a look at the national Cancer strategy and do some research about where your department is in line with the strategy. This will give you a base to start from.

    Look at QI methodology and try to include this in your presentation

    Thank you for your help! The hospital trust don’t currently have a gynaecology Macmillan nurse at the moment to speak to as they’ve retired. All I know is the hospital are behind so there’s quite a bit of work to do.
