Hi everyone! I'm new to this website and found it through all my research about the NET. I'm really worried about how I did. I've been reading up on other post about how other students were also worried, but their scores seemed pretty competitive. I got a 70 composite/ 60 math/ and 79 for reading. I figured that's extremely low and this is the second time I've taken it. I'm really worried that all the nursing schools are going to focus on this score during the application process. I'm currently thinking about applying for the fast track BSN program because I'll be graduating in may with a bachelor's, but I don't know what to think. Does anyone have any past experience with low test grades and high GPA's? I'm doing very well in college, but I seem to be just a bad test taker. The same happened in high school with the SATs. Any advice? Thanks soo much!

Most nursing schools either have a points system for ranking applications or they look at your complete profile. Either way it won't come down to test scores alone. They will consider a variety of factors.

Did you use a study guide? If you decide to take it again .. maybe you should try using one and doing the practice tests, that may help you out.
But yah, from what I've heard they look at more than just your test scores, as long as you meet the "passing" requirement then you don't have to take it again and you will be considered for the program.
Good luck!

I am also worried about this stupid test. I have a few months to prepare for it, but I have really forgotten all that math. I have determined to live this test for a few weeks because I too am a bad test taker and if I can make it second nature then I should overcome. I agree, that if you can/do take it again, get a book.
I just wanted to thank ya'll for your replies! I was very worried about that exam. I did get rejected from a few schools because it's extremely competitive, but I was very luck to get accepted to one. Thanks for all your positive thoughts!
