Background Check TN

I have been accepted into nursing school and its time for me to submit all the information for the background check. I have a misdemeanor for simple possession of marijuana from two years ago. I'm very worried that this will hold me back from being able to complete clinicals. Has anyone else had an issue like this and if so were you able to continue on with clinicals? I have worked extremely hard to get to this point and don't want some dumb mistake that occurred on a canoe trip to hold me back. I didn't lie about it on my application I told them exactly what happened and the outcome of the case but I know its up to the clinical sites as to whether or not they will accept me to do clinicals.
