hi. i posted some topics here about my depression and anxiety. I stopped being a nurse for 7 years. A recent doctor told me that what I am feeling is completely normal, beginner's jitters as he said. ( i wrote down things that happened during the duty such as having difficulties on doing nursing procedures). he said i could continue but I have a problem with my attitude, for most part, I am scared to make mistakes and how can I control my anxiety? I know i should change my perspective, but in learning specially at the start, what should i put on my head? im back at one and have to relearn everything. please in need some motivation and guidance. thanks!

It sounds to me like you need better control of your anxiety and depression symptoms. Please see your doctor, you may need a med adjustment (if you're taking any) and some good therapy. Cognitive behavioral therapy is excellent for mental health issues such as you describe. Good nutrition, exercise, and a strict sleep schedule which ensures you get at least 7-8 hours per night are also important. Wishing you the best of luck in your recovery process. (((HUGS)))
how about you how do you face your demons?
how do you deal with your anxiety?
how do you carry on with the hardship of nursing?
To be honest, I was unable to handle it in the end. I fought depression and anxiety for years before I was finally diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and by then my career was in shreds. I limped along for another couple of years before I gave it up for good. I wish I had a success story for you, I really do. I hope your story turns out better.
