I am taking an 8 week summer semester A&P I course. We have 2 weeks to learn all of the axial and appendicular skeleton!!!! :cheeky:

Any tips, tricks, advice, experiences, short cuts, etc. would be much appreciated!

Me and Mr.Bones are going to get to know each other well theses next two weeks lol

One part at a time, most complex to easiest. Hand. Foot. Arm. Leg. Pelvis. Spine. Face. Skull. Thorax. Have fun!

Been there, I remember the bones weren't a walk in the park. Personally, I created a Quizlet set for my Anatomy class and inserted pictures of the bones that I could look at over and over. It really helped a lot, if that's your learning style.

I second quizlet, and I also made great use of the online study area that came with my text. As well, I spent a lot of time with the bones on campus :D.

For learning specific landmarks on the bones and for the skull I liked Crimando's Skeleton tutorials. The webpages are set up to be interactive which I found to be helpful on learning and testing myself on the skeleton system.

Otherwise break the skeleton down into small sections and work on one section at a time as Grntea suggested.
