average pay

What's average pay for a nurse with 5years of experience?? I was offered $16/hr @MD office and I thought it was too low... I just want to hear everybody's opinion. thanks in advance.

    I think it depends on the practice or acute setting. Such as is it affiliated with a bigger hospital setting or a private practice. It may be hard to generalize an average rate of pay without more information. RNs in general and nurses with more experience or specialty experience at any level tend to fall in a higher rate of pay (in general) such as $20 plus.
