Sep 20, 20196 yr Hello, I thought I would start a thread for anyone that applied to AVC Rn program for spring 2020. I did and I’m trying to patiently wait.
Oct 2, 20196 yr Hey! I also applied for Spring 2020. If you don't mind saying, how many points did you have? Good luck, I hope you get in!
Oct 3, 20196 yr The nursing counselor said that 45 is usually a good amount of points to have and they take more people in spring than they do in fall! I had 70 points. (:
Oct 3, 20196 yr Author Really?! That makes me feel so much better!!! ? I was beating myself up on it getting an A on the teas. I got an 86. You should definitely be good then!!!! ? I was told that November they will start notifying those that got in.
Oct 3, 20196 yr Yay November is sooner than I thought, I wonder how much time they will give us to turn in our physical exam documentation and everything, in spring my sister only had like 3 weeks.
Oct 4, 20196 yr Author Yeah I was thinking December so hopefully November! Yes that is what I heard that they don’t give a lot of time to get everything together.
Oct 4, 20196 yr When I asked ****** a few weeks ago she said letters would go out right after Thanksgiving!
Oct 4, 20196 yr Author Awesome!!! Thank you!!!! Now I won’t be checking my mail all November wondering if I got in or not ?. Is this your first time applying?
Oct 4, 20196 yr Author Oh man I’m sorry to hear that. Hopefully you will get in this go around! Do you mind sharing how many points you have? And are you on a waiting list?
Oct 7, 20196 yr You guys should see if you need your Hep A series in advance! I made an early physical exam so I can get titers tested.
Oct 7, 20196 yr Author That’s a great idea! I’ll see if I can’t get a hold of someone there to check. Thank you.
