My ATT has expired can I still take the NCLEX. I live in Ohio but went to school in Indiana but would like to retest again in Indiana.

Do you want to get a license in IN or OH?

Indiana

Then apply to IN BoN for license by examination. You will have to pay all fees and once process pay $200 to PV to register for NCLEX and await an ATT to be issued by IN BoN

so do I have to contact my school to reissue my ATT?

No. You cancel your application with OH BoN and apply to IN BoN for license by examination and pay the application/licensing fees to IN BoN. Schools verify graduation they do not issue ATTs. Boards of nursing issue ATTs via Pearson Vue. Check the IN BoN application for the way they want your nursing school to verify graduation.

You then register with Pearson Vue, pay $200 and await your new ATT to schedule the NCLEX. You forfeited the original $200 paid to Pearson when you let your ATT expire as well will forfeit any fees paid to OH BoN

Your other option to not lose the application fees paid to OH BoN is to contact them to find out the process to get a new ATT. (You will still have lost the original $200 NCLEX test fee paid to pearson ). Once you pass then endorse your OH license to IN.
