ATI testing anyone ?

Has anyone used the website ATI testing and/or found it to be a helpful tool in preparing for the NCLEX exam ? Does anyone have any specific suggestions on which parts of it were helpful, such as the practice assessments, the skills review sections, the pharmacology, because our school requires we take their tests periodically but it seems like our time would be better spent studying the material covered in class so we can do well in our school class grades.

Thank you if anyone has any advice !

I think ATI s questions were the most realistic when compared to NCLEX which was helpful in preparing. I never found their rationales to be very thorough which was a negative. Overall helpful towards preparing.

Good luck!

I used ATI when I took the NCLEX and found it helpful. Their questions were very much on-par with the actual test.

My BSN program requires that we take ATI exams at the end of each semester. If we don't pass the ATI's then we are kicked out of the program, regardless of the grade we received in the class. I'm unsure as to whether the style of questioning or the content in the ATI's is representative of what's on the nclex but I do know my program has a really high nclex pass rate. The pharm ATI was awful. No prototype drugs and generic names only. Questions with no context, just the name and asking what would we include in client teaching, or what are the side effects of this totally obscure drug. At the end of the semester it was like, study for finals or study for the ATI's? Because having adequate time for both was a pipe dream.
