ATI Predictor

it's only a predictor exam. what is important is the actual exam. but, i got 93% of passing the nclex in ati and still failed. again, it's only a predictor exam. it will all depend on the actual exam. good luck... :up:

I didn't take N-CLEX yet but i did pretty well on the ATI predictor so I thought I was good to go. Then I took Kaplan and realized that I was not prepared before I took Kaplan. I feel much more confident now. If I just went based on the predictor, I am sure I would fail.

I think the predictor is a good tool, just one of many tools you should use to prepare for Nclex. You should be able to see your individual scores in all of the content areas somewhere on the print out of your test, this will tell you were you excell and where you are weak. This is where you will begin to study from.

I scored in the upper 80% range and the predictor said I had a greater than 99.9% chance of passing my boards. I was still leary, so after graduation I did thousands of Nclex questions. Saunders/Davis/Mosbys/ATI and Kaplans. For 3 weeks all I did was practice questions.

I passed my boards with 75 questions in 45minutes.

I think the biggest challenge in taking your boards is your anxiety level. Knowing I had a high predictor, knowing I did so many questions that I couldnt possibly prepare any more allowed me the comfort in knowing that I did all I could possibly do. I did not want to drive up there thinking "gee I wish I would have studied more"

I scored an 76% on the ATI and it gave me a 99% chance of passing the first time and I did today. YAY for ME!! Our school required you to have a 67% or better because that guaranteed you passing at least 95% the first time. I have to say that everyone in my class has passed. so i guess that it is a good predictor.:bowingpur
