ASU Nursing Summer '15

Hey guys!! :) I am a nursing student at ASU applying to the Summer 2015 (16 month) program! I am just wondering if there are any fellow applicants out there and perhaps students already in the program. I think I am going to have a 3.79 gpa when I apply :/ I had hoped for a better gpa but a couple B's threw me off.

I figured I'd make a page for us all to compare scores, gpa's, thoughts, excitement, etc. :)

    So is that your overall GPA or just your Pre-Req GPA? Either way, I think it is very good and nothing to frown about. I'm looking at the ASU program as well, but keeping my options open outside of Arizona.

    Your TEAS score can really make or break your chances of getting in, so if you are worried about your gpa then make sure you really study for the TEAS because it can help you out a lot!

    The 3.79 would be my gpa with just the 13/17 prereq credits. It's higher if you could all the other additional A's, so I wish we could inclue those hahaha :)

    I applied to GCU for spring 15' start and was placed as an alternate. I might look into applying to ASU for the summer. I really like that you get to choose your higher GPA for the prerequisite! That'll leave me at a 4.0 and I haven't taken the TEAS yet. I just don't wanna wait till then, but I also don't wanna be thrown around with GCU. We shall see. I originally wanted to always go to ASU, but before they made this competitve transfer part I would of waited a very long time.

    I would definitely apply!! Call and see how you can transfer credits over and apply because the application process is starting!! ? So exciting.
