I have to complete a cross word puzzle for class and the question states......
Your client with advanced arterial PVD is scheduled for a below the knee amputation. Upon assessment of the limb you find it to be WARM on spite of the fact that capillary refill is poor and pedal pulses are absent. You recognize this finding to be.....(14 letters)
Anyone have any ideas???

Well, if it's warm, it's probably ischemic...does that help in some way? Can't think of any 14 letter words to fit that, though.

The only thing that I can think of is dvt but it's too many letters.
