Argh!!

I take the NCLEX this Saturday. I have been studying for 3 weeks, 2 weeks daily. For 2 years of school I have used NCLEX study books to study for exams (our class exams are based off NCLEX tests). I maintained a relatively decent GPA in school. I have always done exceptionally well in clincals. Teachers and RNs have praised me for my critical thinking skills. I know I am smart (not to toot my own horn). So why do I suddenly feel so utterly STUPID!

I just took one of the exams on my Saunders CD and got a 64. A 64?! I can't seem to get much better than a 75 on 100 questions. I feel like I am missing something. I reviewed the Kaplan strategies book and it helped a bit but I don't know if those strategies are helping me with the Saunders questions. And I don't know if going over all these questions is helping me. :banghead:

I am losing my confidence here. :sniff:

I also used the Saunder's book to study for the NCLEX. I recommend just doing quiz after quiz and make sure you read the questions very thoroughly. One of my problems, I found, was I wasn't reading the questions right. Looking back, the answer seemed so obvious after realizing I had merely misinterpreted the question. Bets of luck!

Give yourself a break and come back to it. It will refresh your head....:specs::specs:
