Are RN's able to get adequately paid Private Duty Cases?

I was an LPN for 26 years and now an RN for 3 years. While I was going to school to get my RN I did private duty and made $12 -$15/hr. I enjoyed it and it gave me some quiet time to study. Now that I've been working in the hosp for 3 years I've decided to go back and get my BSN. I have gone part-time at the hospital and am hoping to find a decently paid private duty case at least 1 shift per week. Do agencies hire RN's for private duty? and is the pay higher than for an LPN? Thanks
