Are there any NP's working in Surgery??

I keep hearing that PA's are the ones that usually work side by side with the doctor in surgery. I also have heard that there are some NP who can do this too. BUt are there any one here who does that?? and if so what type of NP do you need???

I'm curious to know the same as I'm very interested in surgery as a NP. There is such a program as RNFA (RN First Assist) that is combined with some ACNP programs, but as far as I can tell, there aren't any near me. :(
