Are there ever any LPN programs that start at untraditional times?

I mean, for example, for me to get my real estate license, there are classes that begin at all times of the year, every several months. Do LPN programs always start at fall or spring semester time? Are there any that start at random months of the year?

The junior college that I received my LVN from had two different campuses for nurses. One campus started in the fall and one started in the spring.

Not sure, but your best bet is to visit a site like Discovernursing.com and look for the list of schools and visit their website or call them for more info. Good luck :)

We had a new PN class start this winter for the first time. I think there were so many applicants for my class, that they decided to take an extra 60. If it goes well, I don't see why they wouldn't keep the entrance as May & Nov yearly.

I do know that we also have a part time PN program that always starts in the winter, but it's always every-other year.

That's probably as random as it's going to get :)

Obici Hospital School of Practical Nursing starts in February. I think that is an unusual time of the year to start. I am waiting for my acceptance phone call. The admissions committee was meeting today and I was told those accepted would most likely recieve a phone call today. No call. Maybe I shouldn't have volunteered that I have degenerative disc disease in my back. Yikes!:uhoh21:
