APU ELM Program

Hey everyone! As of January 12, 2012, I applied to the APU program. I am super discouraged now reading all of the threads because now it doesn't seem like I even have a shot! I applied for the SB location. My under grad is 3.0 and pre-reqs are about a 3.0 (I have all As & Bs and 1 C). Please tell me there is SOMEONE who got in that had a lower gpa? I also volunteer at LifeStream for 21 hrs a week and have a small child. Does anyone know the time table of when I should be hearing something? Is it a rolling admissions type deal or do they wait until March (the deadline) to begin reviewing the applications? Should I call and keep checking on my application or just wait? Thanks and congrats to all those who just started!!!

    It's my understanding that since they merged the SCAN and EENP programs there is no longer rolling admissions. My undergrad was a 2.9 (from 20 years ago), but my pre-req's were 4.0. I've been accepted to the Fall 2012 cohort at the main campus. You got your application in early which is a good thing.

    I don't think it would hurt to call to see when they will start reviewing applications.

    how can you check your application? When I go to check the application that I submitted all it states is, "Application received." Do you go under the graduate site and log in through the, "apply now"?

    Ok so for anyone wondering, I contacted ---- from the admissions office and she said they are holding all applications until the March 1st deadline and that they probably won't start interviewing until around that time. This is even more scary now that I definitely have to wait another month to hear anything!
