Applying to Nursing School

January 2017 is starting my last semester with my prereqs, i am doing A&P 2, and Microbiology. I wanted to apply to Fall 2017 semester at Miami Dade College. Do you think i will have time to pass my HESI, and get the application done? Also, what other accredited nursing school would you recommend? I've looked online and the majority are not accredited. So far Ive found MDC (which i am attending), Broward College, University of Miami (too expensive). Any suggestions?

    Hi there,

    1. Do not go to schools that are not accredited. You do not want to have to worry about your licensing and job securing.

    2. You can take HESI by the deadline (whatever it is for that school you will be applying). I am in similar situation. I will be taking A&P2 and Micro in the spring for the fall start. Try not to wait. Once you get some grasp on A&P2 and Micro concepts, you can register and take the test.
