Applying directly to a Nursing program in NYC?

Hi

I have a A.A.S. degree in an allied health field from a CUNY college and am considering nursing, being I have majority of the classes (minus a liberal arts class here or there). Are there ANY programs in NYC that allow some type of direct access in to a Nursing program?

Thanks

Yes, there are programs but there a private schools:

NYU

Pace

LIU-Brooklyn

College of New Rochelle

College of Mt. St. Vincent

Wagner College

I hope that helps

As the person above listed, only private schools usually allow you direct entry into a nursing program, but that's only if you've completed all of their pre-reqs. For example, if for your degree you only have one chem class and a school has two, then you must take a second class. So it depends on if you satisfy all requirements.
