Can you apply for programs while you are currently working on your BSN and getting your critcal care experience? I will have my BSN in about 1-1.5 yrs, but I know there is a waiting list for most programs.

Hi,
I was just wondering how that will work and possibly which school you applied to/ your gpa during the completion of your BSN. Don't most schools look for ICU experience for 1-2 years? You probably have to do exceptionally well in order to step out on that step?

Your ICU experience must be as an RN, but it does not need to be after completion of your BSN. Many people work in critical care while doing an RN-to-BSN program, and are eligible to start a CRNA program as soon as their BSN is completed.
