Application process

Hi, I applied for a few jobs recently and was just wondering how long does it normally take for them to get back to you?

Hi SBrown,

Ive applied since I graduated in May and the recruiter is hard to get a hold of. Ive put through many applications but I guess I haven't heard anything because my endorsement application for Maryland RN License is still pending. The jobs I've applied to have already been reposted on a different date. I wish I could hear back from them soon!

Specializes in Family Nurse Practitioner.

I have heard back as quickly as the same day or several months after applying online. If it is a position you are really passionate about getting I would attempt to follow up with a real person in about a week rather than waiting months to see if they contact you. Good luck!

As a recent grad applying for the MD endorsement did you have to take a refresher course? did you also have to do the fingerprints here in FL? It is difficult to get any info

Hi! No, I didn't have to do that. I just basically did my license verification online through NURSYS and then physically went down to CJIS to have my background check/fingerprinting done. I emailed the maryland board of nursing and requested an application for license by endorsement beforehand, that I already had filled out. I then turned in my completed app. to the MBON in person. They gave me a temp license within 15 minutes and said my license would show online in 6-8 weeks. It really was easy :) Good luck to you!
