Application Process

After years of travel nursing, a friend recently applied for a regular RN job. Does anyone know what the application process is like nowadays? Do things normally move fairly quickly, or does it take a while for interviewing? It's not a big hospital so I thought maybe they would be quick about deciding - she's getting a little anxious.

Thanks for any help. :)

My friend has waiting quite a few weeks to hear about a job on the floor where she is a traveller. How long has it been since your friend interviewed?

She hasn't been called for an interview yet. She dropped off her resume to HR last week.

Thanks for the response. :)

Tell her not to worry, they probably dont feel there is a rush if she is already working there

Ah, sorry for the confusion. She's applied at a different hospital than she's at now.
