2017 application cycle

Hello all,

i just thought i would would start a thread for those awaiting acceptance from programs for fall 2017. I have already been accepted to Simmons (MSN) . I also applied to ECU (DNP), UNC (MSN) , and Duke (MSN). I applied for Family Nurse Practitioner at each.

Where did you apply? what is your top choice?

    I just got a letter today from UNC. I am in the wait list for the RN to MSN program, FNP specialty.

    I was waitlisted with UNCC, other than that I will reapply to several schools again next cycle. I have a 4.0 GPA and 15 years experience as a peds nurse. I'm not really sure what else UNC could want!!

    Is anyone still waiting for the PMHNP decision letters from UNC for fall 2017? This process and waiting is so stressful! They emailed me back this AM and said that the last of the letters went out last Wednesday. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing.. Has anyone here applied and heard back either way?

    I was waitlisted for UNC Charlotte and denied admission from UNC Chapel Hill. I only applied to those 2 schools. Sorry for the confusion.

    UNC Chapel Hill PMHNP candidates that hadn't heard... did you get an email or letter yet? I am beside myself waiting. When I emailed them this am they replied that the last of the letters went out Wednesday, May 3rd. I'm right in state in Apex, NC and there was nothing in my mailbox once again today. Even if it's a rejection at this point. Please update me with your status as of today!

    I received me waitlist letter over the weekend. I hope you have heard by now. I read in an earlier thread they are unable to notify waitlisted applicants online. Good luck!
