Application callback

Well I took some other members advice and had someone look over my resume and fix it. Well it paid off cause one of the first places I used the new resume with have called me back for an interview! Yay so excited!:yeah:

One thing I always do is a send a handwritten thank you card after the interview. Much more personal and eye catching than an email :)

Thanks for the tip on the card, I usually send a typed letter, but handwritten sounds like it would make more of an impact.

I just had an interview today and one scheduled for tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestion of a handwrittent thank you note. I am going to try that also. I like the personal approach.

Well I head back from the admin. and they decided to promote from within, but Im in the running in for the next position. Its nice to know thats its not anything to do with me or my skills. Maybe next time :rolleyes:
