Application of Betty Neumans theory?

Anyone have any generalized suggestions or examples of how they apply Betty Neumans systems theory in their N.P role???

I am studying Betty and am trying to think of ways to apply her theory in actual practice... Nurse Practitioner practice???

Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Ugh.. nursing theory makes me want to stick my fingers in my ear and sing "la la la la la la la la la"! Heh.

I would be curious to know if anyone has an answer, my reaction to ANY nursing theory is very similar...

Why don't you start by identifying (and then describing) the various system that the NP addresses? That should get you off to a good start.

Thanks for the replying... Theory makes me squirm... its my first semester.. I am going part time.. I am enjoying school so far.. its been a long time since I have been in school....
