I know they accept 88 applicants

So I'm hoping that only 90 people apply lol.

Tell me about it! Did you apply for the fall??

Yes, I did apply for the fall. I just want to know when they start sending out letters. I hope it's not like in 3 months :/ Did you apply there for the fall?

Yes I did too! I talked to an advisor and they said they were making the decision the second week of Feb and that I should hear late feb early march..so any day now! What is your GPA and HESI score?

That soon! I'm scared :/ Ok well my GPA and score isn't that great :( I kind of don't want to say. But, I suppose I will lol. So my GPA is a 3.4 and HESI score is 83. I've seen other peoples GPA and score and they're all better than mine so I'm guessing yours' is better too! Lol but I'm still hoping to get in (fingers crossed). I'm also hoping that the fact I'm from out of state helps Lol Although, I don't think it will! So what about your GPA and score?

No that's good! They said last fall the average for their students was about a 3.5 gpa and 80% on HESI test. My gpa is a 3.55 and 81% on my HESI. Since you got an 83% that could make up for your gpa! I think you will be fine!!

Now that you've told me that we should find out around March I'm super anxious!! First, I can't wait to get the letter. Secondly, I'm scared to find out if I got accepted or not. I figure that if I don't get in there's always the following semester. I'm always looking on the brightside lol.

I'm debating if i'm going to be applying for spring 2012 , the advisor just emailed me back and said I would be a great spring 2012 applicant since I would be a transfer student, i've done my classes at TCC so far. She said all I basically need is my HESI scores and to apply to Baylor. I was wondering what did everyone use to study for the HESI entrance exam i'm nervous to take it since I'm in chemistry right now and struggling with that class and trying to balance studying the HESI exam at the sametime. I've been studying the evolve admissions A2 book and its very general, did it help you with the A&P and Chemistry sections of the exam or everyone used other study materials ? I was thinking about buying Barron's Nursing School Entrance Exams, and NLN RN Pre-Entrance Exam books, and A&P for dummies as a refresher. What are your sugesstions ? and good luck to all hope you get in! :)

Did you speak with Jennifer Speer?? She is sooo great!! I used the evolve book and it seemed to help with review but with the HESI test there is no way to anticipate what will be on it because it asked some general questions but also specific ones. I think you will be ok!! Just review lots of math ratios and for A&P just review what is in the book! Good luck!! The Spring is suppose to be easier to get into as well bc not as many applicants!
