Anyone in Florida?

I am researching moving to the St. Petersburg/Tampa area. I have researched Tampa General Hospital and All Childrens Hospital, they seem the most like the hospital I am working at now. IF anyone is living in Florida and knows a different hospital I should look into that would be great. Also if you have any information on TGH or ACH that would also be helpful. Furthermore if you know the name of the nurse recruiter that would be awesome.

I'm not familiar with the hospitals in Tampa, but there are some great ones in Orlando. Florida Hospital has a smaller NICU and Winnie Palmer is the 4th largest NICU in the nation. There are a lot of good opportunities here in Florida and the unit I work in seems to always be hiring. Good luck!

FlutterbyNurse I leave in Miami and I recently graduated actually I will be taking my nclex this week. I have been looking everywhere for a NICU position in this area but of course since I am a new grad and because of the economy most of the hospitals here want experience RNs only. I actually have been working in Peds during my entire time in nursing school so I mostly have peds experience but nicu is where my heart is and I am willing to relocate if a nicu position opens for a new grad. Florida Hospital are they currently hiring new grads???

Lee Memorial has a children's hospital in Fort Myers. My hometown is Fort Myers, FL. Don't expect to make very much money, the pay is very low and the cost of living is pretty high in Florida right now. Jobs are also very hard to come by.
