Hi I'mdown4that-Yes, I did have to decline the Banner cohort for July :crying2:. My DH got into ASU's MBA program and it was the exact same times! We have kids, so there was no way I was going to find a sitter for two nights a week plus 10 hours on Saturday. So, I decided to decline it and just start in Jan. The only reason I got it, is b/c I bombed the interview the first time and knew what the questions were going to be the second time I interviewed. Too bad they are done with the program b/c I could have deferred to what would have been the Oct cohort.

My first choice is Gateway, i really want to go to that program. My second is MCC and i put CGCC also. I have not heard great things about CGCC also. Well i guess we have to wait till October to find out! Good luck to you!!

kdoll...Gateway and MCC do have great reputations and I am sure since we have similar date/time stamps that we'll both get in for the fall (4 semester wait, can you believe it?!) I'd be very cautios about CGCC, though. I know firsthand of a friend (a smart girl) who failed out of block 2 along with half of her class. She was passing up until the very end. Also, my step sister went to Central AZ College and had an instructor that was not good and guess what, she got moved to CGCC as well. Anyway, check out some of the posts on here. You hear way more bad about there than anywhere else in the MCCCD. BUT, who knows, obviously people are graduating out of there, so it is doable :). Best of luck to you!

My date and time is 6/16/09 8:05:45. I am not in yet. I have 5 choices listed. I called the nursing district yesterday cause I'm so frustrated, and the really nice lady--did not get her name unfortunately--told me I'm very close. she could not say the very last time stamp that was offered a placement cause it's so mixed up w/ so many deferrals, so many people who got skipped over because of their choices, etc. She told me to keep a close eye on the Monday before placements and to be sure to check the website etc. At the Oct 5 placement they did post the last placement was @ 8:03:45, and they probably placed about 80 new people 2 days ago, so I'm holding my breath. I have a gut feeling that I'll end up missing the cut off and I'll be first in line for fall of 11.:clown:

annek, I bet you will get in, you are SOOO close and people drop up until the very first day of class. I was going to do Nuc Med and I dropped out the day before class started, so someone else got my spot. There is still hope!! Crossing fingers :)....

I got in on the second round my time stamp was 6/16/09 8:03 50. I put down all five slots and got into MCC Boswell.
