Aug 21, 200619 yr i am assuming you mean southern california and that is not the name of a school.i have completed the first of 3 years of a BSN. it has been hard, but i love it and hate it all at the same time. did you have any specific questions?
Aug 21, 200619 yr Author I don't see too many people from the L.A. area posting here. I love school and my clinical intructors. Some of the nurses I've worked with in our clinical sites have been questionable. There are hospitals I would never want to work in because the nursing atmosphere is so unprofessional. I was lucky enough to do my peds clinical at the Children's Hospital. The nurses there are amazing. Are there any hospitals you would like to work in after having done clinical there? Any you would not?
Aug 22, 200619 yr I'm from SoCal and I'm starting the program tomorrow!! So far I've been very impressed with the faculty and the facilities we have to use. I've heard it's a good program with a good reputation. Keepin' my fingers crossed!
Aug 23, 200619 yr You'd probably get a better response by posting this in the california section of this messageboard. Go to forms and then go to nursing discussions by geographical location. Then pick California
Aug 23, 200619 yr I am in L.A. but don't want to identify my school. If you'd like to private message me, I'd love to email you further. From other posts of yours it seems we have some things in common.

I'm wondering what your experiences have been like at programs in SoCal.
