hello, I am also trying to get into medvance, the west palm beach campus. when I call them, they do not want to talk about price over the phone, I do not live in FL right now, I am planning on moving back next month so that I can start school in the fall.
when I check the NCLEX RATE FOR THAT SCHOOL, THEY DO WELL. MAYBE YOU CAN GIVE ME SOME INFO ABOUT THE PROGRAM LENGTH AND PRICE
GOOD LUCK TO YOU
Hi, well the LPN program is $24,ooo. They have financial aie. All you need to do is take the NLN exam and score a 60% percentile. I don't know if thats good but the test was not that bad i got a 70% percentile. Consist of MAth, Science, and reading. Try to call the one located in the miami area. Thay will not talk to you about price. You have to come in. Try to do it early. The school is small, and thats what I like the most. Can y ou let me know the website where you found that statistic.
to check google the fl board of nursing and click on education and then click on NCLEX-PN PASS RATE, IT WILL TELL YOU ALL OF THE SCHOOL AND THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS THAT TOOK IT, # THAT PASS OR FAIL. CAN YOU LET ME KNOW HOW LONG THE PROGRAM IS GOING TO TAKE AND WHAT ARE THE HOURS AND ALSO HOW DID YOU STUDY FOR THE NLN
THANKS
Program is 16 months. Hours are from any where between 7-5. But really depends....STudy you r math, fractions, decimals, adding, subtraction, some measurements like Gallons Ounces etc....you can get the book at barnes and nobles...its the NLN entrance exam study guide. Im sure you can get it at Amazon.com for cheaper. Science, Biology like body parts plants, a little bit of physics not too much though. Reading learn your Nouns , adjectives , verbs, definitions....really easy test. Not that bad.Jus remember you need to do this quick because they only take a certain amount of students per class. Are you planning to work while going to school because the program is full time. Where are you living now?

thank you for the information. I AM CURRENTLY LIVING IN MINNESOTA AND I AM PLANNING ON MOVING BACK NEXT MONTH, I HAVE TO WORK WHEN I GOT THERE, I KNOW THE PAY RATE IS BAD IN FL, I WORK IN A NURSING HOME, MAKE 14.34 AN HOUR, I DEFINITELY KNOW THAT IT MAY BE IMPOSSIBLE IN FL. I DID NOT KNOW THAT MEDVANCE MIAMI CAMPUS OFFERED THE LPN PROGRAM. I AM MOVING IN THE WEST PALM BEACH AREA TO BE CLOSER TO MY FAMILY.
hi, can you please tell me the ISBN# of the book
thanks
What do you do in your job? Is it related to the health care?
Here is the ISBN#0-7637-2487-4 Name of book National league for nursingreview guide for LPN /LVN Pre-entrance exam
I hope this can help you but try to study about one month before taking the exam?
Good luck;)

24k for lpn school??? Here in texas the price is only 3k..... Why is it so much??
Well I can tell you that it is not a public school this is a private school. The cheaper schools here in miami, there is a waiting list and it is tioo crazy to get in. I mean if you want something sometimes its not the price but you want for yourself. You have people that spend there mony in Cigarettes and Alchol and if add all that up in a year its more than the school. For me its worth it, all the attention and a smaller setting.
