Anxiety

Hello, first time posting. I am an LPN attending an ABSN program. Before I started school I took anti depressents and anti anxiety medication for over 10 years. Through the guidance of my psychiatrist I stopped taking my anti-anxiety medication for a year before beginning this ABSN program. For the first time in over a year I experienced a crisis with my anxiety and my docotor prescribed me 5 days worth of alprazolam at 0.5 mg before bedtime. The first three days, I took it without much thought as this was the norm for me for so long. This morning I woke and thought.. wait a minute! I have a drug test coming up before my next clinical rotation! Now I am freaking out because it will be any day now and I process medication very slowly. As an LPN I take my patients safety very seriously and would never do anythig to compromise that. I have always disclosed any medication that may impair my judgement to my place of employmemt so that particular facility is currently aware. What I am wondering is if I should be prepared to lose my spot in this ABSN program if I flag a positive? I reached out to the school clinical counselor and told her I was recently prescibed a new medication (did not specify) and asked if I should disclose it/ upload it to my medical student portal and she said it shouldnt be a problem and to have the script handy just in case. I will disclose my medication on the form before before drug testing regardless so hopefully the medical review officer will contact me first if it is positive. However, will they still alert the school of a positive even if I clear this up with the MRO and provide my prescription? If so should I be OK or should I prepare for a suspenion? Help! Thank you!
