Good luck! :)

Have you received any notification about your application being reviewed?

Where are you from? Are you close to San Angelo?

They sent me an email yesterday about my application being reviewed. I will be living in Austin if I get accepted.

Cool. I'm in the Austin area. I've yet to get an email about my app being reviewed. I submitted my app in mid-February.

I'm kinda nervous - I really want to get into ASU. Have you applied elsewhere?

I submitted my app end of March. Have you checked NursingCas to see if they need any additional information from you? I did not apply anywhere else because I don't qualify due to my lack of experience and I have not taken the GRE. I only have 7 months experience on a Tele unit and I currently work for an EHR company in the Health IT field on the business side of healthcare. I graduated nursing school less than two years ago so everything is still pretty fresh. I do however bring practice management and revenue cycle management knowledge with me.

I received an email from the fnp coordinator saying they received my app from mursingcas and that everything that was required they had received. However, I did not receive an email stating my application was being reviewed. What exactly did your email say?

Yes, that is the email I received. It pretty much states that the application is in line for review. Best of luck.

I got my acceptance letter today for the fall, thank you GOD! Anyone else starting at Angelo State this upcoming Fall for FNP? I'm so excited :-)

I am looking to apply for the Post MSN FNP program at Angelo, but I was not aware of the odd prerequisite courses they require. I am ok taking patho and pharm and the leadership course, but I am confused on the Health Assessment course with 50 hours of clinical hours.

I guess I don't understand how I take health assessment with 50 hours of clinical prior to actually starting the program.

I applied to TAMUCC last year but was waitlisted for whatever reason.

I am just not understanding how to complete the 50 hours and find a preceptor if I am not even in the program.

I'm pretty sure it's once you're accepted into the program when you have to complete clinical hours for Advanced Health Assessment. But, to be completely sure, you should contact the program directly via email.

The deadline is coming up. Good Luck!
