Hi. I am studying, and am doing anatomy & physiology 1 at the moment by correspondence. I am currently stuck on cells with these questions: "State the significance of protein synthesis in the cell" - "What structural features of cellular membranes account for fluidity?" - "What advantages are provided by membrane fluidity?" - "What factor accounts for the fact that the two halves of the bilayer seldom 'flipflop'?" - "What advantages are provided by the lack of 'flipflopping'of the two bilayers?" - "How does excessive cholesterol in the body lead to 'hardening of the arteries'?" If anyone could help me with these I would greatly appreciate it! THANKS Kel
